There are nine levels of progression in each vocation, represented by the Discipline Level ( Rank): a character's progression in one vocation is preserved even if the character switches to a different vocation. ![]() ![]() A Character Level of 10 is needed to access the Advanced and Hybrid vocations. Hybrid vocations combine skills and techniques from Basic vocations, along with some unique skills of their own. The Basic vocations have a balance of offense and defense, while the Advanced vocations focus more strongly on offense. ![]() Only the Arisen can learn Hybrid Vocations: they are not available to Pawns. ![]() There are nine vocations that can be learned and are separated in three groups: Basic vocations of Fighter, Strider and Mage the Advanced vocations of Warrior, Ranger and Sorcerer and the Hybrid vocations of Mystic Knight, Assassin and Magick Archer. Vocations are the classes of Dragon's Dogma.
